Imran Khan has the determination and commitment to turnaround Pakistan just like PIA

Just in a few months, the PTI government is on its way to recover PIA completely from losses and make it profitable. PIA is a good test case to show Imran Khan’s commitment to bring reforms in all departments to make them profitable for Pakistan.

PIA reported a loss of Rs27 billion in the quarter ended September 30, 2018, against Rs30 billion in the same period of 2017, according to the latest data revealed by the airline. Now under PTI government in 2019, PIA  successfully earned Rs.100 Billion revenue.

ARY report on PIA Progress

It was all happening because of corruption, mismanagement and political interference. The previous government of PMLN wanted to sell PIA for pennies and was offering Pakistan steel mill for free to anyone who buys PIA. However, they couldn’t materialize their ideas of destroying PIA because of PTI opposition at that time.

PMLN had no other solution for PIA other than selling it

During the court hearing in 2018, when the CJP stated that  PM Abbasi is the head of Airblue, the court asked; “Isn’t it a matter of clash of interests?” It is a matter of a great concern that a sitting PM of a country has a setup of an airline, which according to reports is “the country’s most successful private airline and a competitor to PIA.”

If PTI can control the losses in just a few months by bringing reforms in the organization, there is no doubt that Imran Khan led government will not be able to bring changes in other sectors. It’s just a matter of time and we know Imran Khan never gives up unless he achieves his target.
